Program Overview: The International Preparatory Program held by the Beijing Language and Financial Training center, a Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) subsidiary educational institution, is designed for international high school graduates who wish to pursue higher education inChina. This one-year preparatory course at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU) focuses primarily on language training, helping students improve their Chinese proficiency to meet the language requirements for undergraduate programs in Chinese universities.
Program Highlights:
Comprehensive Language Training: Intensive courses in Mandarin Chinese, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
Cultural Immersion: Exposure to Chinese culture, history, and society to help students adjust to life in China and prepare for university studies.
Direct Admission to Undergraduate Programs: Upon successful completion of the preparatory program,students are guaranteed admission to undergraduate programs at BLCU or other partner universities in China.
Experienced Faculty: Learn from qualified and experienced instructors specialized in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
Program Structure:
Duration: 1 academic year (2 semesters)
Course Content:
Chinese Language: Intensive courses in grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.
Chinese Culture: Classes on Chinese history, customs, and contemporary society.
University Preparation: Academic skills training, including research methods, academic writing, and study techniques for university-level courses.
Admission Requirements:
Eligibility: International students who have completed high school (or equivalent) outside of China.
Language Proficiency: No prior knowledge of Chinese is required, but students with some background in Chinese may be placed in higher-level classes based on a placement test.
Application Materials: Completed application form, high school diploma (or equivalent), academic transcripts, passport copy, and proof of health insurance.

Submit Application: Complete the application form available on the BLCUP website.
Review: The admissions committee will review applications based on academic performance and motivation.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates may be required to attend an interview, either online or in-person.
Offer: Successful applicants will receive an official offer letter and instructions for enrollment.

Tuition and Fees:
Tuition: CNY23,000 Yuan/semester (CNY46,000 Yuan/year)
Accommodation: On-campus housing options are available at CNY28,000 Yuan/year. （Optional）
